Terms of Service

The rules of the road.

These terms apply when you use the Indigroo app, the Indigroo Plus app or this website. Indigroo is operated by Softcubical Technologies. By using the platform you agree to them.

1. What Indigroo is

Indigroo is a hyperlocal commerce platform. We connect customers with independent neighbourhood shops and with independent delivery partners. We are a platform, not the seller. The shop is responsible for the goods it sells, their quality, their description and their legality.

2. Your account

You register with a phone number verified by one-time password; customers may also sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone number and account secure, and for activity that happens under your account. One person, one account.

3. Placing an order

Prices, availability, delivery fee, distance and estimated delivery time are shown before you pay. A shop may be open or closed, and an item may be out of stock; where that happens the order may be rejected. Your cart is per shop.

4. Bills, coupons and fees

Every bill shows the item subtotal, delivery fee, platform fee and taxes before payment. Coupons are subject to their own conditions — a percentage or flat discount, usually with a minimum order value (for example 10% off above ₹100, or ₹50 off above ₹200). Coupons may be withdrawn or changed at any time.

5. Payment

You can pay by UPI — by UPI ID or by launching a UPI app — or by cash on delivery, which also supports QR payment at the door. UPI payments are processed by Razorpay. If a payment fails or is not confirmed, the order may not be placed.

6. Delivery and the delivery OTP

Your order moves through a visible status timeline: Placed, Confirmed, Packing, Ready for pickup, Partner assigned, Out for delivery, Delivered. Once a delivery partner is assigned you can follow their real position on the live map. At handover you give the delivery partner your 4-digit delivery OTP. Do not share that OTP with anyone before the order arrives.

Estimated delivery times are estimates. Traffic, weather and how busy the shop is can change them.

7. Cancellations

You can cancel an order from the app while it is still with the shop. Once a delivery partner has picked the order up, cancellation is blocked. See the Refund Policy for what happens to your money.

8. If you are a partner shop

  • You are responsible for your listings, your prices, your stock levels and the goods you supply, including compliance with food safety and other applicable law.
  • You must complete KYC and bank verification before settlements can be paid.
  • Accept or reject incoming orders promptly, and keep your Open/Closed status accurate.
  • Mark orders Ready for Pickup only when they genuinely are — that is what notifies the delivery partner.
  • Earnings are paid on the settlement schedule shown in Indigroo Plus, to the verified bank account on file.

9. If you are a delivery partner

  • You must complete KYC and bank verification, and keep your vehicle type and vehicle number accurate.
  • You choose when you are online. Only online partners receive delivery requests.
  • Accepting a request is a commitment to complete that delivery. Repeated rejections and cancellations are tracked.
  • Verify the customer's 4-digit OTP at handover. Never mark a delivery complete without it.
  • Follow traffic law. Your safety comes before any delivery time.
  • Earnings are paid on the settlement schedule shown in Indigroo Plus.

10. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the platform: no fraudulent orders or payments, no abuse of coupons, no harassment of shopkeepers, delivery partners or support staff, no attempt to interfere with or reverse engineer the service, and no scraping. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

11. Ratings and content

Ratings and reviews you leave must be genuine and about your own experience. We may remove content that is abusive, false or unlawful.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Indigroo's liability in connection with an order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for the acts of independent shops or independent delivery partners beyond our role as the platform connecting you.

13. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
